Studio Access & Booking

Where are you located?

We’re in the heart of Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg—specifically in the quieter northern part of the neighborhood. Think peaceful streets, easy access to public transport, and plenty of street parking. A creative oasis, minus the city chaos.

Booking is as easy as hitting “record.” Just hop onto our website, select the studio you want, and book by the hour—24/7, no restrictions. Pay with credit card or PayPal, and you’re all set. Need a last-minute creative burst at 3 a.m.? No problem, the studio is always open.

Feeling inspired out of nowhere? You can book as late as one hour before your shoot.

Picture this: It’s the evening, you’ve got a killer idea for a video, and you’re itching to film. Book online, pack your gear, head over, and start rolling—zero waiting, maximum spontaneity.

Absolutely—that’s exactly what we’re made for! Our studio is open 24/7, so you can book, show up, and shoot anytime—day, night, weekends, even holidays.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • If you’re shooting late at night, please be mindful of the neighbors—keep noise levels in check, especially in the production office.
  • Need more time? You can extend your booking on the spot—just hop online and add extra hours as needed.
  • Unlike other studios, we don’t charge extra for evenings, weekends, or late-night creative bursts. Same price, anytime you shoot.

Easy! We use an electronic key system with the Nuki app, so you can unlock and lock the studio doors seamlessly.

  • You’ll receive access 15 minutes before your booked time—just enough to get settled.
  • If someone else is shooting before you, please enter quietly to avoid disrupting their session.
  • After your session, you have an extra 15 minutes to wrap up and leave before access expires.

Forgot your phone? Phone battery died? (It happens!) No worries—if someone else can reach out, we can remotely open the door for you and get you back inside.

We are a do-it-yourself studio—which is how we keep our pricing affordable, all-inclusive, and flexible. This means there’s no staff on-site by default, but don’t worry—we’ve designed everything to be as user-friendly as possible. Before your shoot, you’ll get detailed instructions covering:

  • How to access the studio (yes, including how to open the door!)
  • Wi-Fi login info
  • Equipment setup
  • Step-by-step guidance for using the space

Most clients manage everything smoothly on their own. However, if you do run into questions, help is just a phone call away. We can guide you remotely—and if something still isn’t working, we can usually be on-site within 15-20 minutes.

Pricing & Payment

For just 79 euros per hour, you get everything—yes, everything! That includes:

  • Fully equipped sets, lighting, and sound
  • Unlimited coffee, tea, and sparkling water (because creativity needs fuel)
  • All-inclusive pricing—no hidden fees

And if you’re booking as a business, you can deduct the 19% VAT, bringing the price down to just 66.39 euros per hour.

We keep it simple and flexible:

  • PayPal

For larger productions (think multi-day shoots or full-week rentals), we can also issue an invoice for wire transfer payments—just reach out, and we’ll arrange it.

Absolutely! We love seeing familiar faces and long-term creative projects come to life, so we’ve got hourly packages to make things even sweeter:

  • 10-hour package10% off
  • 25-hour package15% off

And the best part? These hours don’t expire overnight—you have up to one full year to use them.

Oh, and did we mention? Our prices are all-inclusive. That means you’re not paying extra for equipment, lighting, or hidden fees. Just book, show up, and create.

We get it—plans change. Here’s how we handle rescheduling and cancellations:

Rescheduling

  • Free rescheduling up to one week before your booking. Just let us know, and we’ll move your session to a new date—no hassle, no fees.

Cancellation

  • Free cancellation up to two weeks before your booking.
  • 50% charge if you cancel within one week of your session.
  • 100% charge if you cancel less than a week before your booking.

Because we offer all-inclusive pricing at competitive rates, we need to ensure that reserved slots are honored. But if something comes up, we’ll always try to accommodate you the best we can.

Studio Facilities & Equipment

The studio is on the ground floor and generally accessible:

  • The main entrance has a small step, but it features a double-door design that makes access easier.
  • The studio doors are wide enough for wheelchair users. ● The interior layout allows for easy movement and setup.

However, please note that the bathrooms are not wheelchair-accessible, as this was unfortunately not included by the landlord.

If you have specific accessibility needs, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to assist however we can to make your experience as smooth as possible!

Yes! Street parking is available near the studio, and we’ve always found spots within 75 meters of the entrance.

  • Metered parking – availability varies depending on the time of day.
  • You can park temporarily to unload gear, then find a longer-term spot if needed.
  • If you’re wondering how strictly parking is patrolled at a given time, feel free to check with us—we’ve got some local insight on that!

So, while we don’t have a dedicated parking lot, you shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot nearby.

You can connect via Wi-Fi or wired LAN, with high-speed internet available throughout the studio.

Our current connection:

  • 250 Mbps download
  • 40 Mbps upload

For most productions, this is more than enough. But if your project requires higher upload speeds (e.g., live streaming with large data transfers), and the scale justifies it, we can arrange for a second cable-based connection—at no extra cost. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll make it happen!

There is no dedicated changing room, but:

  • If the second studio is not booked, you can use it as a private changing area.
  • Otherwise, space is a bit limited, but you can still manage outfit changes on-site.

If you need a completely private space, let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Sorry, but no pets allowed—no dogs, no cats, no birds, no tigers, no elephants, no seals. (Yes, we had to be specific.)

This is purely for insurance and equipment protection reasons. Our studio is packed with high-end gear, and we want to keep it in top shape for all creators.

So, as much as we love animals, they’ll have to sit this one out.

Want a cozy chat between two people on a sofa? Perfect. Need a standing shoot in front of a sleek backdrop? No problem. Shooting a training video, online course, YouTube content, or a video podcast? All good.

But wait, there’s more! The studio is also great for photography, whether for portraits, product shots, or social media content. If you need special effects, green screen setups, or professional lighting for that cinematic look, we’ve got the gear to make it happen.

Basically, if your project involves cameras, lights, and action, you’re in the right place.

Yes! We’re big believers in efficiency and standardization, which means we offer ready-made production packages to make your life easier.

If you need a completely custom, high-end production, like adapting a video series for the German market, we can do that too—just keep in mind that this is typically for larger-scale projects where we bring in our extended network of professionals.

For most creators, our structured content production packages are the perfect fit:

  • Online Course & Training Video Packages – Professional, structured, and ready for immediate use.
  • Podcast Production Package – Record high-quality audio and video podcasts effortlessly.
  • Social Media Content Packages:

Half-day shoot (~4 hours) → Get 4-5 weeks’ worth of video content, professionally edited and ready to post.

Full-day shoot (~8 hours) → Ideal if you know exactly what you want to say—batch record and walk away with a month or more of content, fully edited.

These packages take the guesswork out of content creation, so you can focus on delivering your message while we handle the technical side.

While our content packages include strategy and content planning, we don’t offer full scriptwriting services in-house. However, we can recommend scriptwriters from our network if needed.

For larger productions, absolutely! While most bookings don’t require an in-person visit (thanks to our 3D virtual tour online), we can arrange a pre-shoot walkthrough for full-scale productions or customized packages. Just reach out, and we’ll schedule a time.

Turnaround time depends on the package:

  • Social media content & podcasts: Typically 3-5 business days
  • Online courses & training videos: 5-10 business days, depending on complexity
  • Larger custom productions: Timelines vary—contact us for an estimate

Technical & Equipment Questions

Of course! But honestly, you might not need to. Our studio is fully stocked with professional lighting, sound gear, props, furniture, and even a make-up station—all included in the rental.

The one thing most people bring is their own camera, simply because they’re familiar with their setup. But if you don’t have one or prefer to travel light, we offer Canon and Blackmagic cameras for rent at an additional rate.

If you need specific props or unique equipment, feel free to bring them along. Otherwise, just come with your idea—we’ve got everything else covered.

Additional Policies & Miscellaneous Questions

That depends on your setup! We’ve comfortably hosted TV productions with crews of up to 10 people, using one studio for filming and the other as a control hub for directors, producers, and tech teams.

For standard shoots—like interviews, podcasts, or solo content creation—you’ll have plenty of space to move around. But if you’re bringing a larger team, rest assured there’s room for everyone, whether they’re in front of the camera or behind the scenes making the magic happen.

Of course! You’re welcome to bring an assistant, guest, or colleague to help with your shoot. Just keep in mind that space is designed for efficient productions, so if you’re bringing a larger crew, let us know in advance so we can ensure everything runs smoothly.

We have a fully equipped make-up station, but we don’t provide in-house stylists or make-up artists. However, if you need one, we can recommend professionals from our network—just ask!

Life happens! If you’re running late, your booked time will still start as scheduled, so we recommend planning ahead. If you need extra time and the studio is available, you can extend your session by booking additional hours online.

Yes! While we provide coffee, tea, and sparkling water, you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or meals—especially if you have a long shoot. Just make sure to keep the space clean so it’s ready for the next production.
